Bean

Name:  Frosted Coco Bean (pending)

Age:  Mar. 2009 (5 months)

Breed: Appaloosa

Pedigree:  By Edens Mr Frosty (ApHC 522071), out of WH Chocolate Éclair (PHAA 94394, IAHA –Half-Arab- 3A 323874).  (See parent’s bloodline graphics at www.allbreedpedigree.com. If there is a red star next to a name, click on the name and then on the picture icon at the top of the pedigree.  Also more about each parent below.)  Bean’s ½ sister is winning local shows.

Character: Bean is shy but approachable, and very gentle.  At 5 months he is still a mom’s boy, hiding behind the Alpha Mare of the corral, but instigates play throughout the day with the other foals and his older brother, and is quite bold with them.

Training:  Halter broke, leads, ties, picks up feet, loads. Good experience out on the trail in rocky and mountainous country.

Suggested best use: Gelding or stallion. Jumper, dressage and/or 3-day eventer. Parade horse. Should have excellent stamina and ground covering for Endurance or other sports. May have other talents I haven’t seen yet. Will make a fun and flashy trail horse for the non-competitive.

Asking Price: MUST SELL THIS COLT. Cut-rate price of $4,000 (or best offer).

Registered: ApHA (# pending)

Color: Leopard Appaloosa – Bay, White with spots all over,

Description: “Bean” is a lovely example of an Arab Appaloosa. An elegant foal, richly tri-colored with black and brown large and small leopard spots. XXXXXX.

Movement: Bean’s movement is high and light. He loves to leap, jump, and extends his long legs out and high when at play. Very aware of his “reach”. Running by his dam he spends little time on the ground.
